Let's Talk!
Let's Talk is a place where the youth can get a word that will be "age appropriate". Let's Talk is specifically designed to deal with issues that young believers face. It's "what's up"!
Chi Alpha Ministries: Meeting with Fellow Christians on Campus
Chi Alpha is not a fraternity or sorority. Instead it is a fellowship group that gets its name from 2 Corinthians 5:20, “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Chris’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” (NIV)
The phrase “christou apostoloi,” meaning “Christ’s sent ones” is represented by the Greek letters chi (X) and alpha (A), and describes the focus of the group.
Chi Alpha’s mission is to transform the “university, the marketplace, and the world.” They wish to create a “Spirit-empowered community.”
Chi Alpha has a 5-fold vision used to introduce fellow students to a relationship with Jesus Christ. Using worship, prayer, fellowship, discipleship, and mission, the organization hopes to fulfill its desire to exhibit “integrity, servant leadership, excellence, community, diversity, and creativity” in their faith.
